In many ways, 6th grade youth are still elementary school students. Our sixth grade program is designed to transition them into middle school. While classes are built to look like elementary classes, the material focus will shift to "Where/to whom do I belong?" Youth will use Faith and Life: Following Christ. We will use the Ten Commandments to examine our relationships with Christ and our neighbors.
7th grade students are firmly middle schoolers--in all that entails! They are curious, excitable, confident, and active! Our 7th grade classes approach the question "where/to whom do I belong?" by discussing the Sacraments. Youth will use Faith and Life: The Life of Grace.
8th graders are beginning the transition into high school and into Confirmation Preparation. Our classes are designed to reflect this change in status and development. Still addressing the question of "where/to whom do I belong?", youth will examine Church history and virtue. They will use Faith and Life: Our Life in the Church.
Parents whose children are enrolled in Catholic schools may choose to have their child do their faith formation there. Please simply register your child as a Catholic school student on a faith formation registration form.
