Without the many parishioners who give of themselves to serve in various ways at our Masses, we would not be able to offer such well-coordinated and Spirit-filled liturgies.
Please contact us to volunteer for a liturgical ministry!
Altar Servers assists the priest and deacon in various ways during our weekday and weekend liturgies. Baptized Catholic men, women, and children who have received First Communion can volunteer.
To join, attend one of our altar server training sessions at St. Pat’s. We hope you will consider joining our team!
Our Art & Environment ministry prepares our church to celebrate different liturgical seasons and special liturgies. The decor of our church has the “single aim of turning men’s minds devoutly toward God” (SC, 122). This ministry meets in the church to decorate a day prior to changes in liturgical seasons or major feast days.
Extraordinary Ministers of Communion distribute the Body and Blood of our Lord, Jesus Christ during our liturgies. Because the Eucharist is the source and summit of our faith, we need men and women who have a deep reverence for the Body and Blood of Christ.
Do you have a special devotion to the Eucharist? If so, become an Extraordinary Minister of Communion!
Our Greeters go the extra mile to create an environment of warm welcome and hospitality for all those who attend St. Patrick. We love welcoming current and new parishioners to our weekend liturgies! Our greeters do not only welcome folks at the door, but also help them find resources to get connected with ministries. If you’re a people person, this is for you.
Sacred Scripture is on the mind, lips, and heart of every follower of Christ! Our Lectors do not read these biblical texts passively; they proclaim the Word of God so that it penetrates the hearts of all those present. We need lectors to proclaim the Word for every weekend and weekday Masses. If you have a special devotion to our holy scriptures, volunteer to be a lector!
Our Music Ministers prayerfully lead our congregation in worship during our Sunday liturgies, as well as major feast days. The Second Vatican Council expressed the Church’s love for sacred music by saying that the “musical tradition of the universal Church is a treasure of inestimable value, greater even than that of any other art” (SC, 112). If God has given you the gift of musical talent, sign up to join one of our choirs!

Sacristans make sure we have everything we need to celebrate weekend and weekday Masses. From setting out chalices to making sure we have parishioners to bring up the gifts, our team of sacristans work together to help our parishioners worship free of distraction. If you love liturgy, this is for you!
